CALLED TO HIS WORK...

" Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it..."

Psalm 127:1

The vision for The Matthew 25 Initiative was placed on our hearts by God through His redemptive work in our lives. His Word not only directs but also inspires us to live out Christ's command in Matthew 25.

THIS MINISTRY IS NOT ABOUT US-IT IS ABOUT WHAT GOD HAS DONE AND WHAT HE CONTINUES TO DO.

What began as His calling will continue under His direction as a mission dedicated to redemption, restoration, and renewal.

WE ARE SIMPLY GRATEFUL TO BE A PART OF THE WORK HE IS ALREADY DOING.

Why "The Matthew 25 Initiative?"

An initiative is a deliberate action taken to address a need, solve a problem, or create positive change. It is the willingness to step forward, take responsibility, and act when action is needed.

The Matthew 25 Initiative was founded on that principle.

When Jesus calls His followers to feed the hungry, welcome the stranger, care for the sick, and visit those in prison, He is not merely offering a suggestion-He is issuing a mandate. Our response is to take initiative.

We believe faith requires action. We believe compassion must become service. We believe redemption is more than a message-it is a mission.

The Matthew 25 Initiative exists to advance redemption, restoration, and renewal within Tennessee's justice system and communities through ministry partnerships, advocacy, education, and engagement.

Our Foundation

"Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

Matthew 25:40

The Matthew 25 Initiative exists because we believe every person has the potential to receive God-given dignity and worth. We seek to support efforts that uphold accountability while creating pathways for transformation, healing, and hope.

Our mission is not simply to observe the challenges facing incarcerated individuals, returning citizens, and there families-it is to take action.
